A large online seller of smart phones and tablets needed a complete overhaul of their brand. A new website, new logo, new print material and a fresh advertising approach.
First things first
While our talented web pixies drew up plans for a new website, our very own graphic designers got to work on some sleek stationery and print material that would reflect the clients requirements.
Simple with the City Phone logo as the main focus. Nothing over the top just fresh, clean, stationery essentials and some business cards that could be thrown out at events or meetings.
Note that custom designed invoice was later integrated with the website and programmed to be automatically emailed to customers when they purchased online, making the push towards a paperless system.

With a new logo, print material and the website finally ready to go, we were all set for lift off.
The new website features a responsive design that resizes to suit whatever device a user is viewing the site on (now a requirement by Google). This was paired to a full featured shopping cart with a back end control panel that enabled City Phone staff to take payments, manage orders and send invoices.
The site can also manage stock levels and alert staff when a product runs out and automatically removes the product from the front end of the site upon stock depletion.
Getting people to visit
It isn’t enough to just launch a website. People need to find it or be alerted to its presence. We pulled our bag of tricks out for this one and planned out some advertising campaigns across multiple platforms including social media, paid search and organic search engine optimisation. Our initial results are shown below.
And the client?
Is flat out, but did manage to give us some feedback.
“To Chris, Ankit and the team, our business was operating. But that was all it was doing. You guys didn’t just carry out a job for us but you listened to all of our problems and brought us a solution that resulted in a better business and more revenue. You even involved us in the design process and made me feel like I still had control over the work being done. So from me and the City Phone team we thank you for all your hard work.
